Does your future seem filled with expectations? Do you believe the Lord redeemed you for a better purpose?

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” ~ Jeremiah 29:11 (NKJV)

Is your hope secure in knowing God’s unfailing love for you? OR is your heart feeling hopeless? But wait ~ the Bible describes God as the God of Hope. He is the source of real hope. Hope deferred does not mean hope denied.

Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
But when the desire comes, it is a tree of life. ~ Proverbs 13:12 (NKJV)

We all would like to escape the consequences of COVID-19. This pandemic was not expected. We will experience despair and disappointments, but we can fight against hopelessness. How? HOPE challenges despair. It is a glimmer of light in a dark place. Take heart, hope is on its way. His name is Jesus!

“Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” ~ Romans 5:5 (NKJV)

Whatever you are facing today, you can move forward with hope and comfort by trusting in the Lord's love and compassion for you. I am secure when I lock myself in God's prison of hope. Maybe you are thinking that being a prisoner… Click To Tweet
